HyDraw CAD Quick Start Guide

In this video, we demonstrate how to get started with HyDraw CAD. Many basic HyDraw CAD/AutoCAD OEM commands and principles are explained throughout this video. We start with navigation of the options, template information, title block commands, and model vs. paper space setup. Symbol placement and searching for symbols are then explained, followed by connection line placement and an explanation of some connection line behavior. We continue to build a hydraulic schematic and illustrate how to load datasheets as well as some of the AutoCAD OEM commands and capabilities available. Building a symbol on the fly using the "Convert to HyDraw" command is shown. Schematic customization techniques are also shown, including changing text heights, displaying property values, defining an Item ID pattern, as well as customizing the possible entries within a parts list. The video is rounded out by showing the plot command that is empowered by the AutoCAD OEM engine that HyDraw CAD is built on.
